    Default Strange immobiliser problem..Need help!

    Hi,
I'm new here, but am hoping someone can help me.
I own a E34 530i V8. Not sure of the alarm system. I'll try and get details off the box.

The problem is that the car is totally dead.
There is no power to any systems. No central locking or solenoid clicks.

I'm thinking it might be that the immobliser is on and won't deactivate.

The remote seems to be working, ie red led flashes, but no response from the car.

I thought that if I could disconnect the battery, then reconnect it might help, sounds silly, but i'm not even sure where the battery is.

I have done no work to the car, and can't even get hold of a workshop manual for this model.

Hopefully someone will have seen a similar problem before, and can help.

    thanks
    Colin.............

Default Batterys under the rear seat,

lift it up right at the middle of where the passengers would sit. The first time you do this you will enjoy yourself as its real tight.
