coolant level sensor
When I bought my e34, the previous owner said that the coolant level sensor goes out pretty often and that he has just left it unhooked and manually checked it since. He gave me a brand new sensor and said if I wanted to hook it up there wouldnt be a problem. Well, the other day I decided to drain my coolant, change my sensor out for the new one and refill my coolant. Well, checking out what I'd have to do to hook it up before I drained the coolant, I saw where the sensor hooks up with the two prongs on the bottom, but where the heck is the cable and where does it connect on the other end ? I would really appreciate some help on this. I just cant seem to find it.

Use a flashlight.. grab every wire nearby it.
