SOT: Upper strut mounting bolt broke on my friends car

I was helping my friend install coil overs on his car and everything was going well. We were tighting the top bolts with a torque wrench and one of them broke! Can he still drive with it like that? The bolts are stretch type, now we are trying to figure out how to get the broken bolt off of the strut tower and find a replacemnt bolt.

i wouldn't recommend driving it like that.
