Surging problem on 93 525it...

I just started noticing a surging problem with my car. It is goes on the whole time the car is accelerating. It is more obvious, the more I put my foot into it. The surging happens regularly every two seconds or so. Any suggestions what it might be? I was thinking spark plugs, vacuum leak, or o2 sensor.

Check for vacuum leaks. Then replace your O2 sensor. Start cheap.
