I've seen pics of an E30 with a V12 from a 7er stuffed in there. I heard the car drove like crap, what with the huge front weight bias, but the install looked awesome, and probably went like stink in a straight line. I don't know what else they had to do. I'm sure with the E39 engine, everything in the drivetrain had to be upgraded, but since that's a full blown race car, just about nothing was going to be original anyway!
