    about 3 minutes of work total, farting around with some light duty automotive compound and a 8" wool rotary buffer. if the clear is cracked down to the wood it needs to be recleared, but if it is just scratched it'll buff out with care like mine, mine looked like the picture of the headlight after the 2000 grit sandpaper
