    Hey guys. i know the picture is small, but all i had at the time was my camera phone.


    could you guys identify where that peice of wire is suppose to be and its purpose?




    it is located on the drivers side rear sway bar. TIA

    It can be O2 sensor cable. O2 sensor cable runs from jonction on left side of engine to sensor located in exaust pipe right before catalytic converter box.

    it looks like the goofey exhaust vibration damper that came in the later cars, most were long ago thrown away, the wire is a safety measure to keep it from flying through someones windshield when it falls off, best guess from the crappy picture

    definietly not o2 sensor cable.

    i think ill have to agree with winfred. since that big plate thing is connected to the exhuast.


    how come they were thrown away?
