    Default Thrust Arm replacement method

I don't really know what forces act on the upper arms when the car is at a rest. Would it be possible for me to replace the arms while it's just up on the ramps? Or is it really necessary to jack the car up and unload the wheels?

Default must unload, those hold the steering knuckle stable.
