It really is a matter of taste and how much money you can spend.
You can go to simple to full blow sleeper or race car.

    What you have in mind?

    I would:
Get a set of 17" rims or 18" if you like it stiffer
    Get a EAT chip
Get a complete M3 suspension or Bilstein coil overs.
    Get uuc sway bars
Get urethane bushings all around or solid bushings
Get all the mechanical stuff out of the way.
Get M3 cams and a good cold air intake
Get a complete M3 body kit and Euro lights all around
IF I had money left I would get some Euro eyes lights.
Coupled with a great sounding exhaust that would be a nice car.

now.... it is up to you
'85 Euro 635csi Race Turbo, megasquirt, Group A
'92 525i Touring 5 speed, 3.46 diff, UUC 8.5lb flywheel, soon to be turbo.
'02 Subaru WRX Wagon with STI springs, bigger sway bars

    Bavauto is overpriced.
Turner Motorsport has some really good stuff... but it isn't cheap and it is race oriented.

You need to find out what your budget is for now and what you are looking for:
    - Performance ??? Looks ???

Then you can buy the parts you need used or new.

So, what are you looking for?

1st, get your car in mechanical top shape.

This is a very impressive list...
Did you get the reinforcement plates for the subframe bushings?

I have to install my metal subframe bushings and I have to get my 2.8l race engine done also...

But I am still looking for M3 cams. I should get 240 HP off my 2.8 engine.

I haven't gotten the reinforcement plates yet. But my subframe was replaced two years ago and is in great shape. Every suspension bit, bushing and a majority of the gaskets have been replaced in the past 14 months, so the car feels almost like a brand new car. I still need to figure out what I do about that subframe.
