    Default Gauge location?

I'm getting ready to (once again) install my turbo system and am still not sure how to handle the gauge situation. I've got two of them, a boost gauge and a fuel pressure gauge. I'd really like to put them up where I can see them but don't want to hack up the dash. This leaves me with only 2 options- A pillar or somehow mount them to the steering column.

I've never seen an A pillar pod for an E34 and I'm not sure how good they would look on the steering column. What are people doing for gauge mounting?

I know there are panels out there that put the gauges down by the shifter, but as I'll be on the track with the car I don't want to have to look that far down (it's especially hard to look down with a helmet on) so that option is out.

    Thanks.

I don't want to put them down there- too hard to see.

Default either the A pillar or where the passenger airbag would be?
