Month of Production

Hi I need to find out the month of production of my 1989 535i can I find this information in the VIN number? Any help would be great...

look on the driver's door jam, it's there

Is your door pillar sticker missing? Usually the date is on that sticker by the drivers door pillar, might read like 9/89 or something...Otherwise, not sure of VIN code, but if you read it off to a BMW dealer, they will be able to tell you the month/date.
