Try E-bay. I see them there occasionally. I think they sell for $ 25.00 for a set of 4

    Default Word is.......

they have them but they only sell them with wheels they sell. Part #A670. You are gonna have to act like you bought a set of wheels from them, or act like you have a defective set. Maybe just calling a rep and asking for part #A670 will slip it past them. I think there is one rep there that lets you slip through the crack. Do a little bit of searching on roadfly and you might find it. Roadfly has a wheel/tire forum

Yeah, some guy has them on eBay pretty consistently for $25-$40 (same rings, he just varies the price for fun).

Discount Tire carries them, I know. If you have one of those in your area, give 'em a shot. They should be a fifth of that insane eBay price, though.

Yeah, sometimes if you just call and ask for 4 of the part #, they will ship them to you. Why they don't want to sell them I don't know.

they'd rather sell you a set of wheels instead of them helping you to buy/use wheels from someone else

I had wheels bought from them, and they still wouldn't sell the damn things to me! I just called back until I got someone who wasn't an ass about it.

I'd try Tire Rack again. This time ask to speak to a manager. The guys who answer the phones don't seem to be able to take a leak without raising their hands. When you get the manager, thank him for their continued support of the BMW club, ask him if they plan on being at Gateway Tech next year, then ask for (4) A670 rings.

Default Got em from Tirerack with no hullaballoo...

Just happened to get lucky with first call and ordered 8 while I was at it. Just like ordering a hot dog if you've got the part #.
