I need to replace the rear window weather stipping on my 92 325. Is there a gasket "glue" or is it a press-in fit only.

I need to replace the rear window weather stipping on my 92 325. Is there a gasket "glue" or is it a press-in fit only.

I bought some 3m weather stripping adhesive to do my rear seals. But the new ones ended up still being sticky, so I didn't have to use it. It won't stay if there isn't any stick on it. I guess the stuff I bought is supposed to be really good.
