Default Thanks for Wheels help, I finally bought a new set...

...I decided not to go with replicas because if I was able to bend two BBS rims from normal driving, I would probably be buying a new replica rim every year. I couldn't afford new BMW rims. So I found a used set of style 9's with Michelin Pilots with about 500 miles on them from Roadfly. They are awesome! They ride great! All the rims are near perfect except for the one that got dinged up from shipping(Lug bolts loose in package and scratched up face some). It took a little getting used to from the BBS looks. What do you guys think? I got a really good deal on the set. I'm pretty sure I can polish and repair the one with the damaged face.

    The wheels look great!

I've got a side question or two....

where'd you get your bra from??
did you ever consider going with a full nose bra??
have you had any problems with it?? I hear that they can trap a lot of dirt/dust and can really muck up your paint....

thanks for any help/tips you can provide!

hey rommel, any rubbing issues with 245/50's? i'm running 225/55 now, but i'd like to change to a different size. i was thinking 225/50's next.

Default This is part of a full nose bra, Colgan from Bav Auto........

..........I removed the other part as my front bumber was painted. I left the upper part on because of some dings on the front of my hood plus I like the way it looks. They will trap dirt and debris so you have to make sure you keep a good coat of wax and keep it clean underneath.

Default (PICS) No rubbing issues at all......

.......I originaly had 225/55's, then I went 225/50's which gave me a harsher ride and less wheel protection. I love the way the 245/50's fills up the fender wells and I love the ride along with the piece of mind that they will help protect my rims. Personally, I wouldn't buy the 225/50's again nor the 225/55's because of the way the 245/50's ride. I have Sach's suspension kit and the larger tires dampen the ride a bit.
