    Default Fuel Level Sender Replacement

Hello again everyone. I am replacing my fuel level sender because...you guessed it, my fuel gauge doesn't work correctly. I have a somewhat dumb question. Is there an easy way to remove the hose clamps on the fuel lines? I fussed with the one on the outside for ten minuted before I just got tin snips and cut it, and even that wasn't easy. Any tips? I don't want to drop pieces of metal into my tank when removing the inside ones.

    Thanks in advance,

    Phil V

I had the fuel sending unit on mine replaced under "warranty" 3 years ago. When it was first returned to me, it was not calibrated correctly and a full tank of gas only indicated half a tank. Dealer fixed it but it may not be a direct swap.
