    Default Swaybar Upgrade Question for E34 535i

    I am after a suspension upgrade on my car (Australian E34 1989 535i) and am looking at the sway bars which currently has the stock ones on the car. The best ones for my car that I can find (value wise) are from whiteline http://www.whiteline.com.au. They list for BMW;
    · E34 M5 88-96 adjustable front 27mm (Item number BBF12Z),
    · rear 20mm (BBR12Z).

    Clicking onto their webstore you can view the item descriptions.

    It lists them as follows;
    · BBF12Z
    · H/duty swaybar-fr Blade adjust.
    · R / 27 / D / Adjustable 26-30mm / BMW E34 ADJUSTABLE
    · AU$234.55

    · BBR12Z
    · H/duty swaybar-rr Blade adjust.
    · R / 20 / D / Adjustable 19-21mm / BMW E34 ADJUSTABLE
    · AU$234.55

    I was under the impression that M5 E34 swaybars from would fit any E34, however after phoning them, I am not so sure as, they said that they have only put them on a M5 and not a normal E34 and I would have to bring the car in. Am I right in thinking these sway bars would fit on my car?

    Regards

    I've got M5 Sways on both my E34's (535im 1990 and 1992). They bolted right up, no problem at all.

    I put M5 front 25mm and M5T Nurb rear 20mm on my 89 535. They came new drop shipped from Germany with new bushings and hardware for front and new bushings, hardware for rear. I ordered new endlinks from BMA. In fact, I ordered the swaybars from BMA as well. Price was very good as I remember. One of the best upgrades for about $300 as I recall.

    Complete ez bolt up with no issues.

    Got them from BMA.

    New bushings came with the sways. Very reasonable price for probably one of the easiest and best upgrades you can do to an e34, cept maybe an EAT chip!
