    motorcycle might get good mpg, but does not get good miles to the tank



    but seriously, this is great, now not only can we risk a battery dying or an electrical failure, but we can also add to the adventure the concept of finding a gas station with diesel fuel.

    Default I don't know where you buy your gas but I now have a hard time finding a

    station that doesn't have diesel fuel

    i personally like and would like a submarine engined approach in my automobile :^). spare me all the horsepower in North America, don't really need it. take a relatively easy to do 400 or 500 ft lb electric motor and put a trifiling3 or 4 cyl diesel motor under the hood to charge batteries. if the batteries die, have the ability to run off the diesel exclusively.
