Default Fuel filter question and bumper question

Does anyone have instructions handy on how to change the fuel filter. I have a 1995 525i. Also, does anyone know where I can get a rear bumper cover for my car for under $400?

    Thanks!

I use a small surgical clamp to pinch off supply line, no bath. I would think a small pair vise-grips would work also.

How about turning the car on and then pulling out the fuse for the fuel pump. When the car stalls there is no more gas in the lines.

Default Not necessary. Could be bad for your car. I wouldn't do that!

    Default agreed

if you pinch the hose with whatever make sure you dont pinch too hard and ruin the hose, I didn't even think of pinching it at the time (wrenchers block). You could also turn the car on its side and it would be an even easier job.

i think you have it confused/mixed up. the way i've been told (and i do it) is by first pulling the fuse, then attempting to start the car (it won't), and opening the gascap. you will still get a bath in the crap, though.
