    Default Coolant Sensor Disconnect 1994 525i (e34)

Can someone tell me exactly how to disconnect the wires to the coolant sensor? I am trying to do first line troubleshooting and all the manual says is to disconnect the wires but it doesn't tell you how. Do you just pull it straight out or what? It is difficult to see because it is buried under the intake manifold. Thanks.

theres two sensors one for the gauge and one for the computer, i can't remember which is which, to unplug squeese the wire retainer and pull straight out, depending on temp resistance should run from hundreds to ten thousand ohms
all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it
