m5 clusters

Howdy all,

A really stupid q to follow. Is it possible to install an e39 instrument cluster into an e34, such as a 95 525 e34 ??? Would love to be able to do that,

They are similar in size and shape, but would not bolt directly in, nor would they directly plug into the E34. The OBC functions would most likely not work even if the rest of it did. you are better off finding an E34 M5 cluster, as they're somewhat similar. Also, the oil pressure gauge would read mpg instead of actual oil pressure.
