Source of Rattle

I know these are mostly hard to track down, but figured it can't hurt to take a shot. The rattle is under car on a '93 Touring auto. When the RPM's hit 2000 under load only, a loud metallic rattle comes from under the car. I want to look around some but having a list of the most likely suspects would be a good starting place. Any thoughts?

Look at the exhaust.

I would guess heat shield

If it's that rattle that all old cars seem to get under load (like mine), it's probably a heat shield
