I live in central Canada and am going to toronto for a week, I
would appreciate it very much if anyone can tell me if there are any
aftermarket Bmw e34 parts stores around T.O.I thought I might as well
take advantage of the trip to scout out all the parts shops there.

you only mean aftermarket, not used? there's a bmw "salvage/recycling" place called shantaram where they have things like sunroof switches, thrust arms, dmes, and other things. they seem to have a lot of the "smaller" parts that most junkyards don't bother carrying. was the only place i found (even in the us) that i could buy a used a/m tranny switch from. if you are at all interested, i have their business card i could scan, if not, no big deal.
