noo no no not the key the ignition doesnt turn back too off and its loose.

Is it loose to the point where you can move it but it won't turn forward to start but also won't turn back to totally off? Maybe lubing the assembly.....not sure, your mechanism might have decided to die, which has happened before. A tiny bit of WD40 might work. YMMV.
