That is interesting info, Kriss. Just last weekend we replaced the front shaft of the driveshaft on an E32 Alpina B12 750iL, because the joint was bad. I still had a used one on stock (only the front part), no vibrations so far.
The idea with the replaceable joints with circlips and grooves to hold the joints is very nice.
Anyone ever did such a conversion DIY?
What is the approx. cost for such joints?
