without changing out the master cylinder or other parts?
from memory the answer is no, I was looking to do the same as you are thinking now. I looked into all the rotor/ calliper sizes etc( Thanx to BIGKRIS). there are slight difference's in the position of the bolts securing the calliper assembly to the back of the hub. the disc sizes are not the same and there were some other pain in the ass things which made forgetting about it easier. Maybe others disagree? dunno
there u go I was in fact incorrect
M5 brakes fit any e34 but you need to include the master cylinder and reservoir as it is sized for them. Possibly the brake booster too).
However only the fronts from an e32 bolt on, rears won't.
Check out this post about what fits- http://www.bimmernut.com/forum/showt...ght=big+brakes, Bruno updated the site once I sent him the confirmed details but I remember looking at it and wondering if he got it all updated properly.
Cheers, Nick

Thats a definate yes,my old standard `91 M5 brakes went onto my 535 easy when I found some eight pots.
>> Update, sorry that is incorrect. Rears fit fine. I was thinking about e32 rears. Must be going mad (not again, LOL!).
e34 M5 does have different hubs to other e34 though you only need them (and the trailing arms, drive shafts) to reduce track and fit 9" rims on the back the way the M-group used to.
