Keep it and fix it. BTW when my crank sensor went, I got a crank but no start situation. When my fuel pump went it was a crank no start.

Yep. Bad relay, fuel pump, crank sensor, oxidised connector someplace. Just troubleshoot and isolate... :-)

Nice, the M50 powered ones are just superb as a manual. Nicely balanced, and bullet proof to boot.
Get a problem with the motor and the solution is easy, just switch to a M54/m56 out of a later an 3, 5, Z or X series... even an N motor would be doable.
