    Default M50 Valve lifter tick

If anyone has the sticky valve syndrome, which shows up as a medium pitch ticking at idle try using a detergent like marvel mystery oil. It worked wonders to remove the varnish build up.

Do you mean a cold or warm engine? MMO is good stuff. I can be added to the oil or fuel.
    Thanks,

My tick was there all the time. I left the oil in too long and varnish got built up around the lifters. I was seriously thinking about replacing the lifters and perform the pelican camshaft removal.

    Anyway, no need now.
