The Revshift flex disc is CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum. It utilizes high quality polyurethane bushings to maximize rigidity and strength while maintaining the proper amount of flex to protect your drivetrain.

This is a high performance alternative to the oem flex disc. The oem rubber flex disc is known for failing under high loads and needing to be replaced on a regular basis. There is no longer a need to worry after you install a Revshift flex disc on your BMW.

Are they implying that the polyurethane bushings will last indefinetely? Longer than the stock rubber disks? Do you have issues with tearing through the rubber ones?

15 plus years wear and tear on this flex disc is great service life... They chose rubber to reduce vibrations.

I was just curious, and I think that this type would indeed increase vibrations!

I used some like that on my toyota previa auxiliary driveshaft which is like a normal driveshaft but it spins at engine rpm, much faster than your typical driveshaft. It greatly increased the amount of felt vibration. It didn't take me long to switch back to the standard rubber ones

    Doh!

... I was starting to think one of these would go with my new electric turbo. I am sooo sick of replacing flex disks every 20 years!
