I'm the 3rd owner, been driving it for 10 years and put 65k on it. Garage kept all it's life. Interior pretty good but has some flaws. Exterior good aside from inevitable accumulation of rock chips and a couple door dings. One fog light broken, one headlight cracked. Paint nice and shiny. Stock except for an EAT chip and a reversible subwoofer installation.

Did a head gasket in 2003, and it got a 3-angle valve job and 12 new rockers in 2005 due to both #1 rockers breaking, been running fine ever since. Put a Sachs suspension kit on it about 2007, then reverted the change in 2009 with new shocks and springs on all 4 corners. Michelen Primacy tires with about 8k on them. Driveshaft center bearing failed about a year ago, so got a new center bearing, flex disc, and u-joints. It's a bit whinier now than it used to be but drives fine. Motor ticks like a lot of M30s do. A/C works fine, but the compressor is chittering and hooting at me at idle, will probably need to be replaced for the summer.

Noisy A/C aside, the car drives very nicely with the fresh suspension and quality tires.

Selling it because it's garage space has been taken by a newer BMW (and because of the A/C).

Email if interested, questions can be asked here or email me privately.

If it's bad form to advertise a private sale on this forum, my apologies.
