Default Get to spend a day with an M Roadster this weekend!

I'm surprising my wife with a "staycation" weekend here in town, and I put out a plea to the local CCA chapter to see if anyone had a droptop they'd be willing to let a fellow member borrow. Lo and behold, a member has a '98 M Roadster he's going to let me use! I went to meet and greet earlier this week, and we're all set. It was like a first date for me and the car! I didn't stall it once Pics to follow.

Sweet! Now if the humidity will just go down. Oh wait - it probably has AC, my MGB doesn't and it can get too damn hot some days.

It was perfect. We picked it up ~3:45 on Saturday, drove it over to my college roommate's house (he was having a pig-pickin'), then downtown to the B&B we were staying at. Droptop = so much fun. It was heaven. Haven't driven a manny tranny since I sold the E30 back in 2009, but it was a hoot.

One photo we took. Car looked perfect cruising around downtown Raleigh.
