This is quite a different setup than what I am used to. Isn't the turbo too low to drain to the oil pan?
made by avo in melbourne. its a low mount using the stock exhaust manifolds, intercooled, 3" exhaust, t3 turbo (I measured the wheels, they were on ~50mm on the intake side and ~55mm on the exhaust side), and a wolf 3d ecu to run the hardware.
I have to purchase some more items, like an uprated fuel pump, spark plugs, oil and coolant lines, and then I have to work out where all the connections goes. there are some pics here;

I keep on adding pics to what I have for the setup so far. I recently acquired a e34 oil cooler cannister and I already have the oil cooler and oil lines.
I got a k&n air filter for it. 22cm long with a 4" ID flange. https://picasaweb.google.com/Kristia...13903320978418
The specs for the whole kit so far as I know are;
It's for RHD low mount t3 turbo using the stock exhaust manifolds.
What I have now;
- 42lb Ford Green Fuel Injectors. injector 41 lb/hr 440cc 14mm Bosch 0 280 150 558
- Custom wiring harness using stock sensors
- Wolf 3d ECU v4 (mapped to a m30b35 with a thicker MLS headgasket), tuned for 12 psi.
- K&N Air filter >>>>>NZ Performance Wholesale Ltd - K&N Universal Pod Filter 4" Inlet 9" Long
- Autometer boost gauge
- Custom intercooler charge pipes
- Air to air intercooler - size (48cm x 20cm x 8cm)
- T3 exhaust manifold using stock exhaust manifolds
- Turbo
Internal wastegate controlled by an AVO electronic boost controller – Low/High settings via in cabin rotating knob.
o Compressor – 0.6 A/R
o Compressor wheel size - 48mm - TO4S Stage 3 Trim >>>> Ray Hall Turbocharging - Garrett TO4B compressor flow maps >>> See first diagram.
o T3 open exhaust flange
o Turbine wheel size – 55mm
o Turbine – 0.82 A/R
- 3” downpipe
- 3” mandrel bent exhaust
o 3” catalytic converter* – 20cm
o 3” straight through resonator – 38cm
o 3” straight through muffler with 4” tip – 30cm
I will probably use another oil pan to tap and put a bung there for the oil return hose.
For the cooling of the turbo I will try and use the block as the supply and the thermostat housing as the drain.
I will get a bigger fuel pump soon ..in tank..(Bosch 0 580 254 040)
I am getting a wideband oxygen sensor also >>> MTX-L Wideband O2 Digital Air/fuel Ratio Gauge
I also got a e34 oil cooler cannister for the oil cooler and oil cooler lines. Now I have the main components and will be putting it on next oil change.
I haven't started any tuning yet. The wolf3d v4 ecu is tuned for the manual m30b35 but now I reaslie I dont think i can get it working with the auto trans.
I dont have any equipment yet to do the tuning. I will get a moates emulator and I already have tunerpro v5. I already have a 179 xdf and a few m30b35/m30b34/m20b25 bins to get my head around.
What I am looking for is a way to tune my 179 motronic ecu version suited to turbo boost and 42lb fuel injectors.

That should work fine then. I am still gathering parts for my touring, I am missing the megasquirt (That I will build to my spec), the wastegate, the downpipe that I will build and the intercooler.
I think I will start by doing a 5 speed swap and installing the ARP bolts and gauges, that will be good for a 1st step, I also have a bunch of M5 parts that I will buy locally to spice up the build.

No I do not, I did a standard motronic tune on my previous E36 race car and now megasquirt is so much better because you do not need a dyno.

- Water cooling of the turbo, this is what I did on the M30 and it worked great
- For the exhaust, a muffler and catalytic converter should be enough to quiet the beast down.
- Fuel pump, I am using a walbro in tank 255lh (cheap and widely available)
- Wideband I am using the AEM one
Don't you think that that auto trans will go boom with the extra power???
TCD has chips for his setup and he also has different torque converters for the transmission.

I drew out the compressor map. I would not run a lot of boost to make the transmission last as long as possible.
I am still getting some parts together. I have acquired;
- Holset H1E turbo
- t4 exhaust manifold >> http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?t=119487
