Anybody between Omaha and Chicago?

Is there anyone here between Omaha and Chicago? My father is driving my new '95 740il back from Dallas and the check engine light is coming on here and there. He thinks it's misfiring and that caused the Check light to come on. Maybe some loose connections somewhere. Too many plastic covers to see if anything is wrong. I told him to stick to High Test gas (still has the Nikasil Block) and run through some injector cleaner. Anybody know of a shop he could stop at to have them take a look and not have to wait for hours? Any help would be awesome.

sounds like an o2 sensor to me, or bad gas. My 525i did this with a tank of crappy gas from Racetrac. Caused the o2 sensor to trip out, filled up with Exxon and a tank of Lucas fuel system cleaner and all is well again. Autozone carries the Lucas fuel stuff, it's a thin bottle with a yellowish liquid, kinda looks like pee to be so crude.
