Just push the stick forward. If it works, good. If not, it's broken. There is no "on" switch for it.
How do you activate the cruise? Either I'm not doing it right, don't know how to do it, or the cruise is busted.........
A manual didn't come with the car

I've been reading, and I'm thinking about replacing the clutch switch (bmwe34.net) , are there any sure fire "yep, its the clutch switch" ways of knowing when its out?

You could just try hooking your foot under the clutch and pulling it towards you. This worked on my friend's E28- there is a provision to adjust the switch, so find out first if the switch is bad or just out of alignment.

Well, I tried the old toe up on clutch trick this morning on the way to work, but nada.
I'm going to order a bentley from BMA it'll be here sometime next week, but in the mean time anyone got any other ideas/tricks?
