Default Carbon fiber vinyl wrap? Yes or no...?

Thinking about wrapping my trim with carbon fiber vinyl wrap (fabric weave). Click the link below. Looks high quality but not sure if it will look good on E34 with the interior color I have. What do you guys think? Yes or no...?

Also, to pull the door trim, do I need to pull the door panels off first or does the trim just pull out?

Works a treat over the wood panels that are better off in an old Jaguar. Std on M-sports anyhow. 3M make it, I'd expect theirs would be better than anyone elses, There are lots of sellers around, pyspeed look good tho.

That's nice! I like it. Especially for a white car. I don't see a kit for the E34 thought, is it there?

As I recall, you do have to pull the door panels to remove the trim. Not hard to pull the door panels though.

My 540's fake wood is getting this treatment. I think in accent pieces it's okay, but don't go wrapping your whole hood with it

LOL... you wouldn't say that if you saw one of my e34's hoods... but at $200 for the material, no, I think I'd rather get it properly fixed- even if it just gets painted black.

No, no. Not the hood. LOL...

Purchased 3M carbon fiber vinyl form a member @ M3 forum. He deals vinyl wraps. He has other types. I kinda of like the brushed charcoal aluminum but went with cf.

Check out the thread link with some of the selections...

I'll take some photos after wraping.

    200 bucks o_O

I just bought a geniune CF hood for my E39 for the princely sum of $575. I know it's a little over twice the price of the wrap, but then again, it's the real deal and not as expensive as many might think.

Now that new Carbon-Kevlar hybrid stuff.... that's sexy but 5x the cost of regular CF
