Default Air Conditioning - All or Nothing!

    Hello all,

Just yesterday, I noticed a problem with my A/C. That is, when I turn the rotary knob to "1", I hear the compressor click on and the amber/blue lamps illuminate to show that I'm recycling and cooling the air. But nothing comes out the vents. I can click to "2" and "3" and get the same result. When I turn to "4", cold air comes blasting out at full speed.

The same happens without the A/C engaged, of course without the compressor.

At first I suspected the rotary knob, but it's clearly working since the compressor and lamps are working.

Any tips on places to begin looking?

    Thanks,

    Norman
