Default MAF kit is in..... ( dial up connection -warning)

Finally got the Spilt Second MAF Kit installed. I like it. Noticeably smoother acceleration, the gasping for fuel symptom is gone at WOT, idle ummm.... very little improvement but some, and the intermittent stumble off of idle is gone. I am very interested to see if I will have any cold weather starting issues, since the initial air temp is hardcoded at 70 degrees (so I was told). The install was pretty straight forward, no tricks. Tapping into the O2 sensor line is a bitch. The major time stealer is running all the wires and hiding them in order to make the device look unnoticable.
I am very interested in hittin' the Dyno in order to get the precise tune.
Thanks to DaveR for the operations instructions.

Motor looks good Joe! Don't have any answers on your TPS question...maybe someone else does?

What's the story on the remote filter? That Bruno's kit?

Default Yes - Its the Lafosse Special.

It works well. I enjoy paying $2.79 for an oil filter. Of course it is going to take my roughly 30 oil changes to pay for it from the filter savings. I found it hard to believe I'd use an STP oil filter until I read this.

Default speaking of Lafosse specials...why didn't you...

purchase a MAF from Bruno Joe? What did you pay for your split-second MAF?....any distinguishing features that set it apart from the MAF sold by Racing King?
    Thanks,
    George

    Default MAF Purchase

The unit is about 18 months old. I bought it from DaveR for roughly a little under $400. I was mostly price sensitive. The Lafosse Special MAF is approx $625 with shipping.

    Default Duct Work

I got tired of replacing the thin plastic oem piece that gets brittle after 6 months. So I deployed the tin ducting that is used in venting(exhausting) household gas hot water heaters. It works quite well. I can remove it with out breaking it. Should i paint it black for you?

You don't need clamps with these fittings, I didn't put any on my car.
And it works without any problem up to 300 Psi.
