Default Can someone please post a picture of the Idle Control Valve for a 1991 M50?

A pic of it on the engine - can be an engine pic with the part circled too.

I need to clean mine and I want to make sure I get the right part. Thanks!

It is located under the intake manifold and is inline with the throttle body. Some of us is able to reach it with the throttle body removed, reach in with right hand and with the left hand throught the slight opening next to the oil filter housing. that is how I did mine. The other option would be to remove the intake manifold.

Put your left ear on top of the oil filter housing and peer under the inlet manifold. The item in the middle of the pic is what you seek:

after cleaning it, i still have the same fast idle problem unless the vehicle stays stopped for 10-20 seconds - i have a bunch of holes in my elbow between the maf and the throttle - could this be causing a high idle while my car is underway?

i just discovered the holes today, going to be ordering new elbow tomorrow.
