    How about a part number for the replacement u joint and the retaining clip? I always wondered about this. Think it would work on an e30 M3?

    1990 535im 421,000 miles, 1987 325is, 1989 325is, 1990 m3, 1991 318is, 2001 X5 3.0

    But remember, often a rebalancing is required, so for sure it is easier to send it to a repair shop with the proper equipment to do so.

    So I should be glad I have a manual transmission and only one staked u joint?
