Default Showing my son how to change a Bimmer belt

The other day my son and I noticed that his 735i needed the belts replaced. I found this video to show him how it was done. Should have seen the look on his face. I was able to keep a straight face for a few minutes, but I could see the relief on his face when he found out this is not the way you change a belt.

Haha! That's awesome. Good luck screwing the fan clutch back on with the engine running.

Did you change the pulley? Rattling pulley will wear out the water pump bearing faster too.

Thanks for that little trip down memory lane.
Great video, and still has ten fingers.

Common guys the engine shown is the old trusty VW beetle ,air cololed 4 cylinder engine and there is no fan clutch on those , and that procedure is possible. Thats a good video, though.
