    Default very high idle

    hello people

the idle on the car is 1500 rpm which i think is to high it used to be at 1000 rpm.My problem is, if its to high what do i do to bring it down .
Weather the engine is cold or warmed up the idle still stays at 1500 rpm.
before when i used to start the car 4 example in the morning the idle will be at 1500rpm and when the engine warms up the idle will go down to 1000 rpm

    thanks

Remove the Idle Control Valve nad clean it with a rag and some light penetrating oil. Make sure it opens and closs smoothly and isn't jammed up with oil or otherwise faulty. Check for vacuum leaks, all the hoses and connections to the intake manfold need to be double checked, air getting in will cause a lot of weird behaviour...
