Take is a legend. I think he should be working for BMW, somehow the combination of Japanese electornics and German machines is a combination no auto company ever cracked... until Shogun/Take teamed up. They may not make the big time, but 3 for the guys that are innovating in areas places others have never gone before.

Terrific work Erich, and thanks for the illuminated shift panel. They are simply superb! I must now save up for one of these, assuming Herb accepts my payment for his cupholders

programming took almost the longest time. And of course testing for safety, therefore the beep sounds, different as you can hear. First I thought people might not like the sound, but apparently they like it (first reactions), because it is something special, like the strobo effect on the iluminated gear. Actually the stroby effect lights flashing for that we wanted to add as test program when ignition is switched on, if all gears have contact. Now it is an add on.

Excellent! I'm in, do you have a list of off the shelf (Shogun style) mods available? Was the gear module manual or auto? What is it exactly?

iluminated gear panel is for automatic only, any automatic transmission, the module will sense which transmission is installed. I only need to know if it is 4-speed or 5-speed, because of the small panel on top.

For manual gears there are the knobs/gandles with ilumination availble in the internet, these I do not sell.

Is the beep on/off customizable? Maybe a way to turn it on or off by the end user? Maybe changeable using a series of button presses to 'flip a switch'?

enduser can/could turn it off at his own risk and responsibility, also it is his responsibility when he sells the car or rents out the car etc. Inside the control module there are 4 switches, 1 is for this.
So usually the module is closed and under the center console. It comes with alert buzzer switched on!

    Hi Shogun.

I forgot to ask you if this units still works okay with the key or remote "comfort" windows?
Do they still all go up if the key is held over in the lock?
Will they beep using this method, or only beep when the centre consol buttons are used?

Also - if the individual rear window switches are used to open/close the rear windows, will they also now be "express" or will they only work as before?

    best regards,

same procedure as usual with original as far as I know (will reconfirm), as for the question if they are beeping then I have to test, will tell you next week as the car with our test module is on a business trip.

NO! Too dangerous, they have to be pushed as original, only the quad switch in center console has the module connected. And the rectangular push button on that switch can still switch off the individual rear door switches installed in the rear door panels. In addition there is a switch inside the module to switch off the function of the rear door switches completely, also for safety reasons.

The whole system is for safety reasons designed in such a way, that the driver has the control.

    @leicesterboy15
ss2115 can make you a pic of his gear panel if needed for RHD, he also has it installed on his RHD in Australia.
Yes, the gear which is selected is iluminated, more than the others, which are also iluminated and the brightness changes automatically.
In addition the socalled strobo effect at the beginning when you switch ignition on is to check the function of the gear selector switches, contact yes or not. Kind of on board diagnosis
if something wrong for more than 2 seconds, the red LED will show.
Here iluminated gear module, our test module
