Check you have 12V+ on your jumper. If so check its actually arriving at the pump and there is also a good ground. If so the pump is probably shot. Try giving it a tap

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? Fuel pump does not have to run full time during starting. Only enough to pressure up the system.

Have you considered it might be your crank position sensor or your MAF that is preventing you from starting?

Are you even sure your fusible links are all good... there are a couple of them. What is your current voltage without engine running?

You have to check if you have 12V at the pump. If not it is most likely to be the fusible links- there are two on the 535, near the battery under the back seat. Follow the rd wires until you get to the heat shrink, cut it open and replace the links. Once they get old, the rivets oxidise and they intermittently cause current to stop flowing. This will upset your BMW like nothing else...

I took the car to the shop and they replaced the ignition wires and some other crap that had nothing to do with it, charged me 500$ and the car worked for 1 day, now is back at the shop and they don't know what's wrong with it.

I replaced the fuel pump, they replaced the two relays I checked the fusible links, I don't remember if I checked both I know I checked the one that is hard to find under the seat and U have to cut the rubber thing to get to it, now they are talking about replacing the computers , does anybody have any ideas before a nice 535i ends up in a junkyard?.

What fuel pressure did you get when you checked?
