Ntk oxygen sensors are the largest o2 sensor company in the world , they are made by NGK spark plug company and are used in virtually all new japanese cars from the factory. I've installed a lot of them and they are at least equal to if not better than the bosch ones...I wouldn't hesitate to use one.

I just spent $110 for a bosch replacement at a local foreign parts store. An email inquiry I sent to NGK last year resulted in being told the NGK/NTK part number 25561 is the correct part and direct fit for our cars. I think the price was about $58.00 as you mentioned.

On that note, I have what I am 90% positive is a good, albeit used bosh O2 sensor sitting in my garage. My methodology for passing emissions was to take the so called cheapest route and a new O2 sensor was included in that. I cannot say for certain how many miles are on the sensor, but if you want it, it is yours for the cost of shipping.

here is a cross reference list Bosch , Denso, NTK
    http://www.benitomo.com/CATALOGOS/De..._Reference.pdf
then you have a wider option.
Cheapest are the universal ones without the connectors, so you have to use the old plugs and the piece of wire from old sensors.

NTK is the brand name for oxygen sensors manufactured by NGK Spark Plugs. NGK is the world's largest manufacturer of oxygen sensors with over 10 million sensors produced annually.

Here even better, OEM #, NTK, AIRTEX, Walker, Bosch, Denso
    all cross reference numbers

The part #NTK 24647 says it will work in my 530. My car was built 06/93 so it takes a different sensor :-(
