They are 19X8.5, he says they were on his 3 series...will they fit my 7?

Thanks for the input. Actually it is my son who is all hyped up to get these rims but it sounds like a lot of money and work to get them to fit. I think he will stay with the rims and wheels he has now. I think we will remove the tires from the rims and repaint them. A lot of good write ups on how to do this. Haven't heard from you in a while,,,, just figured you were busy

I was in Europe for 2 weeks on business.

I my opinion that size is too big. 17" is a good compromise.
19" is no longer comfortable, but probably your son does not mind about that, young men like the looks.
I once had 18" on the 750, but sold them again, not my world anymore, too hard, and the tires also expensive, and also the bigger and heavier the wheels/tires, the more probs with the front sus, shimmy......
even with slightest wear on control arms etc. you get shimmy, but not so fast with the standard wheel/tire combo.

This is kiboko's son, the more and more I think about it the less I think of it as practical. Thank you for the input, I will steer clear. Maybe use the money to get my front end back in shape .
