    Default Wheel fitment question...

Hey guys, could do with some confirmation on this one pretty quick if possible!

Need to know if these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/17-Throwing-St...3A1|240%3A1318 will fit on my 535i (e34 obviously) for definite - as I'm just about to strike a deal with the seller! Had a quick look around but haven't found anything conclusive yet!

    Many, many thanks in advance!

Hate to reply to my own post first, but just found this and 'Mike Wong's' post seems quite similar... Is another 2mm offset much? I can never remember which way offset works either, if it's bigger do I need spacers or the other way around? Please excuse my ignorance...

    Default Ok...

Had to make a decision and I've went for it and agreed to buy... Just wondering if anyone would be interested in my wheels once I get the T-stars on? They're straight and true, tryes have between 4 and 5mm on I think (will check)... They do have some kirbing however but they polish up nicely!

Will take some pic's if anyone's interested!

gotta love the shops that place balance weights on the outside instead of proper...

They'll be 2mm farther out, which is about 1/16th of an inch.

So, higher offsets brings it inwards and usually causes rubbing on the inside.

Some people run 10mm offsets on e34s, so you'll be perfectly fine!

    Nice catch!

They'll be fine, but you'll need hubcentric rings to mount them on your car. Those are 74.1mm hubs (E39), and we've got 72.56mm hubs.

But don't you already have hubcentric rings on your current wheels? Maybe you don't and I'm thinking of someone else...
