    Default Removing door trims

I have just bought myself a 91 520i, but unfortunatly the second day I got it the passenger door became locked shut, and no amount of persuading can open it. I have been told by BMW Ireland that the problem is a jammed central locking motor. Can anybody tell me how to go about fixing this or am I going to have to take it to a shop to get it fixed???

Default Hey Ronnie....you might want to start with this info on BMWe34.net

    http://www.bmwe34.net/e34main/trouble/Locked.htm

Sometimes the doors come out-of-sych, so if that's the cause, that should help straighten it out. Another cause I'm told for lock sync'ing issues is that the trunk's own lock wiring can often become pinched, thus causing the fault in the system.

    Hope this helps.
