Default No floor heat on passenger side

I have noticed that there is no floor heat on the passenger side only. Is the floor vents controlled by a servo motor? How do you test the heater core?

If you don't have any air (either cold or hot) coming out of this side floor vent it's possible that this floor vent flap stay close. But if you have some air flow but only cold air on the passenger side and hot air on the driver side chances are that the driver side heater valve is the culprit.

Yes the passenger side floor vent is controlled by a step motor that drive a flap (same thing for on the driver side). This is in fact the easiest one to reach / test / replace if needed.
