Thread: Cupholder

    Default Cupholder

New owner here, with probably an old subject for most of you. Need to find a decent cupholder for my 95 525i. Bought the one that attaches to the door at the BMW dealer, but it interferes with my leg. Suggestions (and where do I find one)?

you could probably find one on ebay but with a 525i w/ standard ASC (i believe) the holders on ebay are usually made for the center console w/o the ASC button. with a simple search on google, i found this website:

...and after further searching, i found that that link just links to ebay ads selling the cupholders shown. if you have ASC, then youll want the 20$ one, w/o ASC then you could choose either, or both just in case you have kids or want holders for your rear passengers.

ive actually found that the area between the seat and the door right next to your ass is a great place to put cups, bottles, cans..etc. just dont forget to grab it before you open the door cause itll fall out..trust me, i still havnt learned.

I bought one from BMA that sits on the passenger side of the console. It's not a supertight fit but holds popcans ok. I usually keep it on the floor behind the seat when not in use.
