Default Auto dipping side mirror not working

I recently noticed that my passenger side mirror no longer automatically dips when I put the car in reverse. Has anyone else had this problem and is there some fix for it? I was really starting to appreciate it.

Move that little switch next to the door mirror adjustment. It works only in one position, the other position is mirror dip off!

The switch needs to be in the "up" position for the auto-dip to work. If I remember correctly, you have to have memory seats/mirrors for the auto-dip feature to work.

I have this feature and passengers new to the car always ask me what that noise is when the side mirror moves.

If you install memory seats retrospectively is the wiring there for this t just work or does it need messing with?

you need also new mirrors and wire loom for the mirrors, inside is completely different and the wure loom has more wires compared to standard electric mirrors.
