I dont quite get the perspective - was that done on the outside of the dented panel or the inside?
Seems like it will work on soft dent... where there is no line and where body work is smooth without any sharp angles... E34 is pretty sharp in almost every area.
I also wondered how thin that body work is... older cars are thicker.
Anyone tried that yet, I am just thinking the same thing that the E34 body panels are much thicker than most jap cars.

I've heard about using a heat gun and ice cubes to the same effect. Have not tried it yet, though.
